Everquest - Was an in-game "Guide" (wrongly referred to as a GM but that was the perception among players) played EQ from launch up to the intro of EQII
Dark Age of Camelot- 6 months
Anarchy Online- a few weeks
Star Wars Galaxies - 1 year to year and a half
World of Warcraft - 2 years
Have you ever been in a guild?:
Yes was a founding member and officer of "The Tree of Life" on the Luclin server in EQ for several years.
Guilded in SWG and WoW as well
If so, what did you like about them?:
Fellowship with others in the game and the ability to make friend in game
What did you dislike?:
Mandatory meetings, mandatory raids and in one case a military-like atmosphere as far as chain of command in the guild was concerned.
Why do you want to be in our kinship?:
I liked the fact that you advertised a "no foul language policy" in soliciting new recruits. I see no reason for people to swear in a game (or anywhere else for that matter). I figured a guild (kin) that has that policy will most likely have other values and moral standards that fall in-line with my philosophy.
What do you expect out of one?:
Friendship, fellowship, fun
Please provide any comments if you would like:
I always tend to be the oldest member of any guild I am in (I'm 47) and athough I may be "old" I refuse to grow up
All my characters are female. Why would a grown man play female characters? I figure that if I'm going to sit in front of a computer screen and watch a character for hours on end, it might as well be a character I enjoy looking at. Beats the heck out of looking at some muscle bound, hairy dude all day
I Jillreth, have read and agree with the Blessed Souls Code of Conduct.
